Pacific vapor movie
A dwarf planet discovered on Dec. 28, 2004 (catalogued as 2003 EL61 and nicknamed "Santa" for a time) was recently named "Haumea" (after it's Hawaiian discoverer) and is considered the "Weirdest" object in our solar system! It is as big as Pluto but only has one-third the mass, but is football shaped, or more like an "olive or walnut".
Astronomers determined that it is elongated because of the high speed that it rotates, about every four hours. Haumea is the fastest spinning object in the solar system as it tumbles and this causes it to look brighter and then fade fainter. It also has at least two smaller moons orbiting around it.
